In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Yoshi

Yoshi was more than just a bird; he was a beloved member of our family.  For 6 years, he brought so much joy and laughter into our home with his playful antics and cheerful chirps. We got Yoshi when he was just a baby bird and didn't even have all his feathers yet. We named him after the Mario Kart character, "Yoshi" because of his bright green plumage. Whether perched on our shoulder, or enjoying sitting on his perch in the shower, he exuded a sense of happiness and contentment that touched all who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and companionship that will be deeply missed.  It always made us laugh when we would tell Yoshi "Gimmie gimmie kiss," and he would kiss us with his little beak. He loved to sit on our shoulder and steal food from us, even if it was a bit of a hamburger. He just seemed to like all food. 

As we bid farewell to our dear Yoshi, let us take solace in the memories we shared and the love he gave us. May he now soar among the clouds, and find eternal peace. 

Yoshi, you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
